Michael E Mayle

Michael E. Mayle, 69 of Ravenna passed away Friday March 12, 2021 at his home in Ravenna.  On September 30, 1951 born in Grafton, West Virginia to the late Alfred T. and Melba (Kennedy) Mayle.  Mr. Mayle has lived in Ravenna the past 35 years and was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God Church.  Mike was a very avid fan of Ohio State Football and was a retired spot welder from Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving his country in Vietnam.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Charles Mayle,  Survivors include his wife Marilyn E. (Steed) Mayle whom he married June 13, 1970, his daughters  Teresa Vanhorn, Tammy (Bob) Miller, his grandchildren Tracy Vanhorn, Chad Vanhorn, Ashley Vanhorn his great grandchildren Elaina Morris, Genesis "Sissy" Coppa, Nathaniel Grove and his brother Alfred R. (Ada) Mayle.  Calling hours will be from Wednesday March 17, 2021 from 11:00 Am until time of services at 12 Noon at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church with Pastor Gary Beck officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio with Military honors.  Condolences and memories of Michael may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
