Michael R. Phelps

Michael R. Phelps 72 of Paris Township passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. He was born August 25, 1947 in Ravenna, Ohio to Clarence and Elizabeth (Spano) Phelps. Michael was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God and was a welder for Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg. Survivors include his siblings Clarence (Wilma) Phelps, Jr., Tom (Barbara) Phelps, Patti Phelps, Gloria (David) Coulson, John (Laura) Phelps, Ronald (Sheila) Phelps and Karen (Barry) Kaschner and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 12 PM Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Ravenna Assembly of God, 6401 State Route 14, Ravenna, Ohio. Pastor Gary Beck will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Ravenna Assembly of God. Services have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
