Michael P Short

Michael P. Short, 64 of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  Michael was born March 9, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Delmer Short and Olivia "Jeanie" (Allen) Ferguson. He has lived in Cuyahoga Falls the past eight years and was formerly of Ravenna.  Michael was a veteran of the US Army  and had retired as a laborer after working for several different companies.  He was preceded in death his father Wayne Short and mother and step father Jack and Jeanie Ferguson.  Survivors include his children Ryan (Theresa) Short, Aly Hameister, his grandchildren Isabella Short, Liam Short,  Joslyn Hawkins, his  siblings   Mark (Sandy) Short, Linda Pierson, Lisa (Mike) Stone,  Lori (Rich) Nottingham, Diane (Rick) DiPetta, Brian (Sue) Ferguson, his loving companion Betty Ingram and step mother Janice Short.  In honoring Michael wishes cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of life service will be held  at a later date.  He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Michael may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.
