Michael Dean Wallace 53 passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Hospice of Western Reserve. He was born November 7, 1962 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Eulace and Julia (Mahon) Wallace. A lifetime Mantua area resident, he graduated from Crestwood High School. Michael was employed by Diggins Landscaping in Aurora. He also worked construction and he was a self-employed roofer.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, motorcycles and drawing.  He attended Streetsboro Church of God and God's Church of Deliverance Ravenna.  Survivors include his parents Eulace (Pete) and Julia of Mantua, his special friend Malee Hall of Mantua, his twin sister Donna (Rodney)  Stalnaker Whiting of Hiram, nieces Christa(Eric) Hrubik of High Point, NC, Jessica (Scott) Hopkins of Mantua, nephews Lary Henry of Kent, Jesse Dean ( Amber) Wallace of New Port Richey, Fla and Cody Wallace of Ravenna, as well  many special  great nieces and nephews and loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Danny M Wallace and niece Melissa Ann Stalnaker. Calling hours will be from 2 – 4 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, August 8, 2016 at the funeral home with Reverend Sue Dickerhoof officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family c/o Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
