Mildred J. (Casterley) Shaffer

Mildred J. Shaffer 82 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday February 20, 1933 at the Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born February 20, 1933 in LaBelle, PA to the late Earl and Cecelia (Casterley) Jones.  Mildred has lived in Streetsboro since 1990 and  has been in the Portage County Area since 1960. Survivors include her children George Toshok of Stow, Michelle Toshok of Streetsboro, Georgette Toshok of San Antonio, Texas, Diane Simpkins  of  Ravenna, her step children Greg Shaffer of VA and Virginia Lopick of Kent, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglass  on November 14, 1999 and sisters Laura Rollison, Helen Abbott, Earla Miller, Faye Williams and Della Pepper.  Calling hours will be Thursday March 5, 2015 from 11:00 Am until time of services at 12 Noon at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Streetsboro with Rev. Bill Snyder Officiating.   Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.   The family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society .
