Mildred R. Edmonds 88 of Ravenna was born July 7, 1927 in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Edward and Edna (Wichert) Paleit. Mrs. Edmonds passed away Friday November 20, 2015 at her home in Ravenna. She has been a resident of Ravenna since 1955 and was formerly of Ashtabula. Mrs. Edmonds had retired from Ravenna City Schools system where she worked as a secretary for several of the schools and the school board. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Kent and in her spare time enjoyed painting.
On March 12, 2015 she was preceded in death by her husband James whom she married October 24, 1953. Survivors include her sons Jon (Angie) Edmonds o0f Hilliard, Ohio, Jeff Edmonds of Ravenna and her grandchildren Jude, Noah and Calla. Calling hours will be Monday November 23, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel and also on Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church Kent, Ohio.
