Monica Lynn Hilliard, 52, passed away on January 20, 2025. Monica was an avid runner who found joy in running half marathons. She was deeply devoted to her family and was known to many as “Aunt Momo,” a name that reflected her warm and loving spirit. She was an inspiration to everyone, and taught the many who knew her about love, perseverance, and strength. She is survived by her beloved husband, Todd C. Hilliard; her children, Tyler C. Hilliard and Jordyn M. Brainard; her son-in-law, Collin P. Brainard; her mother, Delores J. Keller; her sister, Krista K. Groves, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brothers-in-law Brent (Sue) Hilliard, Steve (Donna) Hilliard, Shawn Hilliard and sisters-in-law Pam Keller, Teri (Dan) Plaso, and Susan (Leonard) Oshell. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence L. Keller; her father-in-law, George C. Hilliard; and her brother, Ronald A. Keller. Monica’s kindness, strength, and love for those around her will be dearly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be from 5 PM to 7PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Monica’s honor to Wounded Warrior Project or Paws-and-Prayers.
