Naida (Martz) Rankin

Naida Rankin 95 of Ravenna passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Emeritus of Ravenna. She was born April 9, 1918 in Detroit, MI to the late William Martz and Edna Fish. She was a very kind gentle Soul. Naida loved her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Gone but not forgotten, and always loved by her daughters Sandra Dunfee of Kent, Jean (Michael) Dennis of Mantua, sons William Rankin of Long Island, NY, William (Margaret) Kruhmin of Long Island, NY, Kenneth (Dar) Kruhmim of Rootstown, 12 grandchildren, Ed, Chris, Damien, Michelle, Justin, Ian, Sarah, Jason, Jessica, Dwayne, Robert, Eddie, 9 great grandchildren, and a brother, Rodney Martz of MI. Besides her parents she was preceded by her husband, George Rankin whom died February 8, 1998, her sons, Randy and Sonny Rankin, sisters, Liza Madden, Edna Fern, brothers, Kenneth, Ford, and Bill Martz. Cremation has taken place and a Private Graveside Service will be held. Memorials can be made to either, Grace Hospice of Akron or Youngstown. Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
