Nancy C (Graff) Ferrell

Nancy C. Ferrell 74 of Ravenna passed away Saturday March 26, 2016 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Being a lifelong Ravenna resident Nancy was born November 28, 1941 in Ravenna to the late Robert and Maude (Hoatling) Graff. Mrs. Ferrell retired in 2005 following 42 years of services as a registered nurse from Akron City Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, going on many cruises and many trips to Las Vegas with her husband Larry whom she married June 15, 1961. Her family said she was the backbone and driving force of her husband's and son's drag racing careers. In addition to her husband, survivors include her children Joseph (Lisa) Ferrell of Ravenna, Carolyn (John) Wetshtein of Ravenna, her grandchildren Joey, Jacob, Olivia, Kaitlyn, her siblings Margaret (David) Bayley and Chuck Graff both of Ravenna and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Ferrell and grandsons Joshua and Jason. At her request cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 5 - 7PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
