Nancy (Hatala) Kolodziej

Nancy B. Kolodziej, 79 of Garrettsville passed away Monday May 19, 2014 at her residence.  She was born May 5, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Emil and Gene (Mastny) Hatala.  She has lived in Garrettsville since 1999 and was formerly of Cleveland, where she worked  several jobs including Marc's  Corporate Offices, K-Mart and Creative Playrooms Day Care.  She is the loving mother of John (Lilian) Kolodziej of Garrettsville, a loving Grandma to Jessica, Steffanie, John, Erin, loving step grandma to Kevin, Jimmy , Katie, a loving great grandmother to Quinten and a loving sister to Dorothy J. Bertel and Emil (Fran) Hatala both of Streetsboro.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Kolodziej in 1975.  Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery Twinsburg, Ohio.
