Nevin D House

Nevin D. House 87 of Rootstown, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1939 in Grantsville, Maryland to Asa and Irene (Hare) House. Nevin was a US Marine Corp and a US Army veteran and a member of the Ravenna VFW and the Kent American Legion. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills where he was crane and press operator. Survivors include his wife Donna (Durst), children Dallas House, Terry (Carrie) House, Steve House and Cheryl Berry and 1 grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Pam Shoemaker. Cremation has taken place. He will be buried at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
