Nicholas David Markward

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nicholas David Markward, a beloved member of the Kent community, who left us on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on November 15, 1984, in Ravenna, Ohio, Nicholas was the cherished son of the late Guy Daniel and Veronica Marie (Fritz) Markward. Nick was an attendee at Riverwood Community Chapel in Kent and was known for his fierce love and dedication to family. He was passionate about music and studied Music Production and Engineering at The Los Angeles Recording School. Nick was joyously proud of his son, and he is deeply missed by his sister, Kimberly Markward. Nick also leaves behind a loving network of extended family and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is now reunited with his parents and his sister, Theresa Markward, who preceded him in death. Nick's humor and outgoing personality touched all who knew him, and his memory will be treasured by those who loved him. There will be a celebration of Nick’s life on March 22 from 1-5pm at First Church of God located at 237 New Milford Rd in Ravenna.
