Norma S. (Murphy) Calton

Norma S. Calton 77 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday December 18, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born March 2, 1934 Sayersville, KY to the late Max Murphy and Edith (Patrick) Sudol.  Mrs. Calton has lived in Streetsboro since 1957 and was working for Vaccaro's Family Hair Care in Streetsboro.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing and was an avid bingo player.  Survivors include her children Michael (Karen) Calton of Streetsboro, Lisa (Michael) Swartout of Ravenna, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul in March of 2010, her children Richard, Larry, Linda Childers and her brothers Bob and Bill Puckett.  Calling hours will be from 12 noon on Thursday December 22, 2011 until time of funeral services at 2:00 PM at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes  Streetsboro Chapel with Rev. Bill Snyder Officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro.
