Norman Lee Sapp

Norman Lee Sapp 69, a Charlestown resident since 1981, died peacefully at home with his family surrounding him, Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was born October 19, 1945 in Ravenna to Lloyd A. Sr. and Jane E. (Clyde) Sapp. Norman was in the US Navy, was  a truck driver for S.B. Morabito Trucking in Cleveland and a member of Teamsters Local #436 in Cleveland. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Sharon (Strawn), daughter Tammy Coy of Ravenna, grandchildren Emily and Benjamin Coy both of Ravenna, sisters Patricia J. Wiggins of Ravenna, Louanne (Mark) Cross of PA, Joanne (Eddie) Dean of Diamond and Janet (Neil) Pratt of Newton Falls and brothers Larry Sapp of Deerfield and John Sapp of Newton Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lloyd Jr., Calvin, Neal and Edward Sapp, brother in law Earl Wiggins and friend Ralph Johnson. Memorial calling hours will be from 1 PM to time of memorial service at 3 PM Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Norma Bates will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Akron General Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, Ohio 44333.
