Ohma B. (Reedy) Roosa

Ohma B. Roosa 86 of Ravenna died Friday, July 15, 2011. She was born February 25, 1925 in Brady Lake to Herbert and Florence (Hamly) Reedy. A lifelong Portage County resident, she was a member of the Ravenna VFW Post #1055 Auxiliary and enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Survivors include her children Robert (Angie) Roosa of Akron, Jerry (Cheryl) Roosa of Ravenna, Jean (Rodney) Stephens of Paris Township, Cody (Anna) Roosa of Palmyra Township, Lowell (Vicki) Roosa of Kent and Ruth (Jim) Martin of Vermilion, 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joel Roosa in 2003, grandson Danny, 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Skiver officiating. Burial will be in Grandview  Memorial Park in Ravenna.
