Olive E (Nichols) Pompeneo

Olive E. Pompeneo 77 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday July 23, 2011 at her home.  She was born November 24, 1933 in West Lafayette, Ohio to the late Milford M. and Maggie L. (Street) Nichols. Olive was the Office Manager at Harner Plumbing, Inc. in Streetsboro till she retired.  She was a member of Crossroad Community Church in Shalersville, and she also volunteered at the Community Cupboard. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Jean Elliott of Stow, Suanne Marie (Tony) Pomponio-Gonzalez of Sarasota, FL, Annette Rae Pomponio of Cornville, AZ, Elaine Ruth (Steve) Norcross of Forney, TX, grandchildren, Erica, Nicole, Ashley, Angela, Rachel, Bethany, Sofia, a sister, Alta Lemasters of Springfield, OH, and many nieces and nephews  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jay M. Nichols, and a grandson, Jeremy J. Pompeneo.  The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM  Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel with Calling hours being held one hour prior to service. Rev. Keith McKnight will be officiating the service.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Ravenna, following the service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chaplain Paul  Carruthers, Animal Therapy, P.O.
