Oneal (Stover) Brent

Mrs. Oneal Brent 99 of Ravenna passed away Friday November 18, 2016 at the Woodlands at Robinson in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born March 19, 1917 in Danville, Alabama to the late Herman and Leila (Sharpley) Stover.  Mrs. Brent has lived in Ravenna  from 1948 until 1972 and spent six years in Cleveland before moving back to Ravenna  to the present day in 1978.  She was a faithful  member of the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Ravenna and had retired from The Cleveland Board of Education where she worked as a food service manager.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Brent, her daughters Helen Thornton and her husband Charles,  Dodi Martin and her husband Bob, her sisters Flo Martin and Bobby Turner.  Survivors include her grandchildren Danny Davis, Christy Brown, Steven Davis, Stacy Davis and niece Marilyn Johnson.  Calling hours will be Monday November 21, 2016 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 12 Noon at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev.
