Oscar Wayne Rice

Oscar Wayne Rice, 89 of Streetsboro, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. Oscar was born on April 2, 1934 in Markelsville, Pennsylvania to his late parents James and Esther (Lenig) Rice. He was a proud service member of the United States Army and had worked as a truck driver, retiring from The Teamsters. In addition to his parents, Oscar was preceded in death by his two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Joann E. Rice, whom he married on September 6th, 1953, his children David O. Rice and Thomas L. (Tina) Rice, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a private family burial with military honors will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
