Pamela June (Beans) Roeder

Pamela June Roeder 59, a lifelong resident of Atwater, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family and best friend. She was born July 11, 1959 in Ravenna. Her parents were Wade H. and Daphine J. (Shope) Beans. Pam was a member of the Atwater United Methodist Church, where she conducted Children's Church and was a Lay speaker.  “Pammy’ loved the outdoors and could usually be found in her beautiful gardens working right next to her husband, only coming indoors when the sun set. When Pam wasn’t in her garden, hanging out with her girlfriends, or at a church activity, she was cheering on her 7 beloved grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored. The name Grandma was the one she loved best.  She was a mail carrier for 30 years for the Rootstown Post Office. Pam touched so many lives with her energy, spark, kind heart, wicked sense of humor, and contagious laugh. She became friends with nearly everyone she met, and she left a little piece of her with all of us. Survivors include her husband, the love of her life and high school sweetheart Rodney "Bud" Roeder, son Josh (Alanna) McComb, grandchildren Tony McComb (whom she raised for 14 years), Jordan McComb, Lucas McComb, Cole Radcliffe, Royale' Pearson, Stanley Pearson and Shyaira Pearson, stepdaughter Riche' Roeder and brother Chris (Amie) Beans. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Atwater United Methodist Church, 6380 Waterloo Road in Atwater. Reverend Ruth Roth will officiate. Burial will follow in Atwater Cemetery. Flowers are welcome. Memorials should be made to Rose's Rescue, P.O. Box 33, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.
