Patricia J. Dever 86 of Streetsboro, formerly of Cleveland, died Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born March 11, 1928 in Dublin, Ireland to Michael and Christina (Doyle) Griffin. She came to America in 1955 and married James (deceased) in 1969. Patricia was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro after being a long time member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cleveland. She spent her life as a homemaker, caregiver and devoted Grandmother as well as being very active in the Church. Survivors include her daughter Brigid (Dan) Fejes of Mantua, grandchildren Seán, Brendan and Christopher, sister in law May Griffin and brother in law Johnny Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Andrew and Petra, sister Lily Brown and brothers Christopher and Michael Griffin. Calling hours will be from 1 - 5 PM TODAY at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 9781 Page Road, Streetsboro, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Father Pat Ferraro officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna, Ohio.
