Patricia A. (Hughes) Winters

Patricia A. Winters, 82 of Ravenna, passed away Friday October 2, 2020 at Uh Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  On December 26, 1937 Patricia was born in Edinburg, Ohio to the late Percy and Ruth (Meisser) Hughes.  Being a Portage County resident most of her life she had worked as an administrative assistant for Evenflo before retiring from Press of Ohio.  She was a member of the Edinburg First Church of God.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George D. Winters in 1972, her children Kenneth Winters, Karen deCaussin, her granddaughter Madeline Coy and siblings Gary and Thomas Hughes.  Survivors include her daughter Peggy Varney, her grandchildren Chris Coy, Rachael Powers, Kenneth Winters Matthew Winters, Valerie Pinchot, Michael deCaussin, her great grandchildren Jaycob Quay, Kinsley Winters, Kai Winters and her siblings Donna Robles and William Hughes.  Private family services will be held at Edinburg Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow in Edinburg Cemetery.  Condolences and memories of Patricia may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
