Patricia E. Phillips

Patricia E. Philips, 80 of Ravenna passed away  on Monday December 30, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born August 1, 1933 in Century, WVA to the late Benjamin and Minnie (Spotloe) Payne.  Mrs. Phillips has lived in Ravenna the past 50 years .  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Ravenna, where she served as a deacon and elder and was also a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship .   She was a member of the Junior Tuesday Club and the Ravenna Eastern Star.  Mrs. Phillips was the owner and operator of the Diamond Beauty Salon in Ravenna.  Survivors include her husband of 62 years Don Phillips, her children Debra (Ken) Parshall, Annette (Robert) Polit, Kimberly (Doug) Woods, her grandchildren Amy (Brent) Harris, Katherine Polit, Laura (Jorvas Rodgers) Tsai, Owen and Mason Prisk and her great grandson Ethan Harris.  Also surviving are her siblings  Mardell Boni, Perry Payne, Ben Payne, Jr and James D. Payne.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Doris Lohr, brother Gordon Payne and nephew Johnny Boni.  Memorial Calling hours will be 10 AM until time of memorial services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Ravenna with Rev.
