Patricia A. Hillegas 75 of Charlestown died Monday, January 12, 2015. She was born May 9, 1939 in Bowling Green, OH to George and Ada (Joseph) Place. Mrs. Hillegas was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was in Young at Heart and served on the Bereavement Committee. Formerly of Ravenna, she has lived in Charlestown since 1966. Survivors include her husband of 53 years Richard "Rich" Hillegas, daughters Marcia (Doug) Kibler of Edinburg and Bonnie (Dan) Stull of Diamond, sons David (Susan) Hillegas of Edinburg and Darrell "Pete" (Elizabeth) Hillegas of Diamond, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Beverly Bingham. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. A mass of christian burial will take place at 10 AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. William B. Kraynak officiating. Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown Township. The family wishes to Thank the staff at Altercare Post Acute Rehabilitation Center and Robinson Memorial Hospital for their support and care.
