Patricia A. (Sailor) Medhurst
March 13, 1925 — November 17, 2015
Patricia Ann Medhurst (90), born March 13, 1925 to Gordon and Margaret Sailor, went to be with the Lord she dearly loved from her home November 17, 2015. She was surrounded by her husband William (92) who was the love of her life, and many of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat was an upbeat, enthusiastic, thankful person. Her favorite activities were reading Scripture and other spiritual books, attending Church and Bible studies, and praying. Her favorite saying, especially in her later years delivered with her beautiful smile, was “Isn’t God good!!! She loved her family and loved cooking for her family who greatly enjoyed her “special” recipes. After Bill’s retirement they enjoyed many years of traveling in their motor home to see new sites and visit family and friends across the country.
She was the beloved mother of 13 children, grandmother of 36, and great grandmother of 45.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Eileen Rath, daughter Margaret, son Gary (Julie), infant son David, and grandson Jacob.
She is survived by her husband William (Bill), daughters Kathleen (Mark) McCollum, Mary Terese (Terry) Fellenstein, Patricia (Dave) Fedor, Susan Medhurst, & Anne Haley, sons William (Martha), Thomas (Fran), Robert (Carol), James, John (Scharlotte), & Dan, 80 grandchildren, sisters Joan Zlaket and Peggy Formica, and many nieces and nephews.
Pall bearers are grandsons Joshua McCollum, Jeremy Fellenstein, Benjamin Medhurst, Stephen Fedor, Christopher Medhurst and Nicholas Medhurst. Honorary Pall bearers are Daniel Medhurst, Andrew Medhurst, Isaac Medhurst, and Jesse Haley.
