Paul "Gary" Holcomb

Paul “Gary” Holcomb, 83, of Streetsboro, with his wife and children by his side, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio. He was born on June 24, 1940 in Cowen, WV to parents Donald and Pauline (Tyler) Holcomb.

Gary graduated from Windham High School in 1959 and had been a resident of Streetsboro since 1964. He retired in 2000 from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills with over 35 years of service and was a proud social member of the Streetsboro VFW. Gary was a winemaker and loved sharing his wine with family and friends.  He was an avid sports fan for the Streetsboro Rockets, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Gary was a permanent camper at Holiday Camplands and enjoyed his annual fishing trips.

He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Bonnie (Retey), children Terri (Richard) Klacik, David (Janet) Holcomb and Craig Holcomb, daughter in law Amy Holcomb, step-children Denis (Jacey) Densmore, Robert Densmore, and Todd (Crystal) Densmore. He is survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and siblings Ruth (James) Owens and Carol Bradley and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Pauline, his son Gary and siblings Donald, Robert, James, and infant sister Catherine. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. Pastor Terry Baughman will officiate.
