Paul Thomas Hugill

Paul Thomas Hugill 89 of Ravenna passed away peacefully on  Monday, November 27, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna after a period of declining health. He was born in Ravenna to Walter L. and Gladys C.(Beck) Hugill on September 17,1934. Tom was a member of the Ravenna First United Methodist Church where he also served on the finance committee. He was a member and officer of the Ravenna Kiwanis Club for many years. He had worked as an executive at County Savings & Loan and its successors. He had been happily retired for many years. Tom's greatest joy came from loving and supporting his family. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years Lois Jean (McColloch),  children Laura (Ed) Hill and Linda Hugill, grandchildren Samuel(wife Kristine), Thomas( girlfriend Kaycie), Haleigh (husband Keaton),Anna and Rebecca (husband Jonathan) along with great grandson Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Gregory T. and siblings Harry, Edward, Jack and Richard Hugill. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Reverend Jim Lewis officiating. Private family interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. The family especially would like to thank Western Reserve Hospice and UH Portage Medical Center for the compassionate and loving care given to Tom.
