Paul W. "Butch" Blewitt, 72, of Port Orange, Florida passed away Monday February 16, 2015 at the Halifax Medical Center in Dayton Beach, Florida. He was born August 31, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Clarence and Wilma (Bucey) Blewitt. Butch has lived in Florida the past six months and was formerly of Ravenna, Windham and Newton Falls. He had worked as a truck driver for several companys and was a veteran of the US Army serving his country in Vietnam. Survivors include his children Tony Blewitt of Windham, Ryan Blewitt of Southington, Melissa Knight of Windham, Lorrie (Shawn) Mitchell of Streetsboro, Tessa Wallace of Garrettsville and Chanda Blewitt of Ravenna, 10 grandchildren with one on the way, and siblings Chuck (Sharon) Blewitt of Dallas, Texas, Jim (Judy) Blewitt of Windham Clarence Blewitt of Florida, Ruth Ann (Earl) Van Hise of Connecticut and Juanita (Bruce) Tacy of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara on March 8, 2007 and sister Dorothy Flegal. Memorial services will be held 4pm on Saturday March 14th, 2015 at the Windham United Methodist Church 9051 North Main Street Windham, Ohio 44288.
