Pauline Frances (Mcknight) Gechoff

Pauline Frances McKnight Gechoff was born in Dawson, PA to Mr. and Mrs. Leroy McKnight, and was raised in Tower Hill #2. Frances lived in Brownsville, PA with her husband Bernard Gechoff. Frances graduated from California State Teachers College, taught at Luzerene Township and Brownsville Area School districts, and was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. She was also a member of multiple organizations including being an auxiliary to Northside Fire Company #1 and St. Peter Parish. Frances passed away peacefully on December 21, 2016, where she resided in northeast Ohio. Frances was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Sara McKnight, sister Faye McKnight Cooke, and husband Bernard R. Gechoff. She is survived by her sister Eleanor McKnight Griffith and her many nieces and nephews. Frances has been laid to rest beside her husband Bernie in the Lafayette Memorial Park.
