Pauline M. (Sluciak) Stegenga

Pauline M. Stegenga, 84 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday May 11, 2014 at Maplewood Care Center in Streetsboro.  She was born January 10, 1930 in Czechoslovakia to the late Frank and Katheryn (Bysaha) Sluciak.  She has lived in Streetsboro since 1959 and was a charter member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro.  She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.  Survivors include  her husband Randolf M. Stegenga, Sr. whom she married  at St. Patrick's Church in Canonsburg, PA on October 25, 1958, her children Janet Stegenga of Cuyahoga Falls, Mary Stegenga of Streetsboro, Randolf M. (Angie) Stegenga, Jr. of Stow, Ohio, her grandchildren Ryan, Allyson and Trevor.  Also surviving are her siblings Frank Sluciak, Jr of WVA, Rose Mary Pallaria of PA, Carol Fragapane of VA, Agnes Williamson of IN and special friends Jeanette and Jack Lilly.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John Sluciak and step mother Helen Buresch.  Calling hours will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday May 14, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be  10:00 AM Thursday May 15, 2014 at St. Joan of Arc Church  in Streetsboro with Father Pat Ferraro officiating.  Burial will follow  in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  The family requests memorials may be made to St. Joan of Arc Church.
