Peggy C (Lallathin) Brewer

Peggy C. Brewer, 69 of Ravenna passed away Friday July 9, 2021 at her home in Ravenna with her family by her side.  On November 3, 1951 she was born in Zanesville, Ohio to the late James and Margaret (Kuhn) Lallathin.  Living in Ravenna most of her life Peggy had worked and retired from the Portage County Sheriff's office where she worked as a corrections officer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her sisters Pat Youngblood and Cindy Lallathin.  Survivors include her children John (Tara) Brewer, Jr., James (Dale Stanley) Brewer, Sr., Michelle D. (Chuck) Cooley, her niece Chris Robinson and grandson James Brewer, Jr. whom she raised as her own children, her grandchildren Jimbo, Bella, Kate, C.J., her great grandson Carson  and siblings Rita Lallathin, Chuck Lallathin, Bill Lallathin and Jim  Lallathin.  In honoring her request cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be Wednesday July 14, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Condolences and memories of Peggy may be shared with her family at http://www.sscfuneralhomes.com    The requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation or Portage County Sheriffs Association.
