Peggy Jean (Moore) Young

Peggy Jean Young 68 of Brimfield died Monday, June 25, 2012. She was born June 27, 1943 in Philippi, WV to Hugh and Kate (Crouse) Moore. Peggy was a server for Bob Evans Restaurant in Streetsboro for 13 years and had been a server for Elite Restaurant in Ravenna for 22 years. She loved all her customers and friends. Survivors include her daughters Kelley (Todd) Jones of Harrington, DE, Kimberly Grafton of Brimfield and Elizabeth (Jim) Williams of Rootstown, 2 grandchildren, stepson Jeff Spencer Young of IA, sisters Phyllis, Mary Jane and Florie Ann, brothers Jack, Bob, Arden and Blair and special friends Craig Laws, Marilyn Nash-Hemrick and Doug Guptill. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary L. "Mouse" Young and 5 brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 PM (TODAY) Thursday at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 29, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Ballert officiating. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
