Perry M Williams, Jr.

Perry M. Williams, Jr. 88 of Ravenna passed away Thursday April 15, 2010 at the Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. He was born July 27, 1921 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late P.M. "Bill" and Helen (Merts) Williams, Mr. Williams returned to Ravenna in 1957 having lived in Chicago and South Dakota.  He retired from the Oak Rubber Company where he worked as the Sales Manager of Specialty Products, he was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenna, the Ravenna Elks #1076, F&AM Unity #12 in Ravenna and had attended Kenyon College and graduated from Miami of Ohio with a BS in Business Administration.  He served his country in WWII with the US Army Air Corp and was a 2nd LT in the Air Force Reserve.  Survivors include his wife of 441/2 years Patricia (Jenks) Williams, son Michael (Christine) Williams of Cuyahoga Falls, daughters Holly (Trevor) Kreierhoff of Streetsboro, Elizabeth (Gregory) Magrell of Ravenna and granddaughters Heather, Nicole, Katie, Brittni, Hannah and Emilee.  Calling hours will be 4-8 PM Monday April 19, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral services will 10:30 AM Tuesday April 20, 2010 at Grace Episcopal Church Ravenna, Ohio with Rev. Carol Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family requests memorials to Grace Episcopal Church 250 W.
