Peter A. Kuhstos 86 of Brimfield, formerly of Streetsboro, died Monday, June 27, 2011. He was born December 8, 1924 in Jamestown, NY to the late Peter M. and Jane M. (Dehaven) Kuhstos and spent his childhood in Cheswick, PA. Before moving to Brimfield, Mr. Kuhstos resided in Streetsboro from 1956 to 2004. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, a truck driver for CCC Highway, worked as a groundskeeper for Brandywine Golf Course and loved nature, music and playing guitar. Survivors include his daughters Gloria Kuhstos of Richfield, Juanita Riffle of Brimfield, Pamela Richards of Windham, Leilani Bailey of Brimfield and Sheryl Kuhstos of Streetsboro, son Michael (Becky) Kuhstos of Streetsboro, grandchildren Tammy Riffle, Lisa Keiser, Tina Riffle, Carla Yusufi, Veronica Walker, Shana McManus, Latona Bartusek and Nathan Richards and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Lillian E. Kuhstos. Calling hours will be from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday, July 1, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
