Phyllis Joan Cettomai

Phyllis Joan Cettomai, 78, of Rootstown, passed away Thursday January 16, 2025 at her home in Rootstown.  On May 13, 1946, Phyllis was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Lodovico Nelo and Katherine Marie (Maurer) Cettomai.  Phyllis has lived in Rootstown most of her life and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, Ohio.  Phyllis spent her work life at Reed Memorial Library, guiding it through its many expansions to its present place in the community, Phyllis retired from the library as director after 41 years of service.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Cettomai.  Survivors include her brother Robert Cettomai of Newton Falls.  Calling hours will be Friday January 24, 2025 from 10:00 Am until time of Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 Am at the Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Phyllis may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
