Phyllis A. (Hancock) Carr - Hancock

Phyllis A. (Carr) Hancock 67 of Dayton, formerly of Ravenna, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at Akron General Medical Center.  She was born June 9, 1946 in Charleston, WV to Robert and Gladys (Newman) Hancock. Phyllis has lived in Dayton for 21 years and was a factory worker for Chrysler Corp. in Dayton. Survivors include her daughter Barbara Carr of Cleveland, sons Robert (Monica) Carr of Akron and Thomas (Kimberly) Carr of Ravenna, grandchildren Danielle, Chelsi, and Thomas, sisters Barbara King and Carolyn Bullock both of Dayton and loving companion Loren Patton of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bruce Hancock. Cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be from 5 to time of memorial service at 7 pm Friday, May 16, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Reverend Brent Joy officiating.
