Rachel D. Summers, 92, of Sebring, Florida passed away on Monday July 25, 2016. She was born on April 3, 1924 in Rosedale, WVA, the daughter of Oscar C. Dobbins and Eva Barton Dobbins. Rachel was a press operator in a plastics factory. She and her husband moved to Sebring in 1986 from Ravenna, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Victor B. Summers, 1 daughter Renee Vasil of Ravenna, and 2 sons, Lyle Summers of Sebring and Leon Summers of Ravenna. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Victor L. Summers. Visitation will be Monday August 1, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 PM Tuesday August 2, 2016 with Pastor Gary Beck officiating.
