Ramona I (Simmons) Hager

Ramona I. Hager, 90 of Ravenna, passed away Thursday September 14, 2023 at Hospice of Medina.  She was born July 7, 1933 in Parkersburg, WVA to the late George Simmons and Amy (Mahone) Jeffryes.  Living in Ravenna most of her life, she was a self employed housekeeper and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Diana Moore, Deborah Berghous, Gary Thornton, Rocky Hager and her siblings Wanda Long, Juanita, Dallas Jeffryes and Jim Jeffryes.  She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Smith, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  In honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Ramona may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
