Ray D. Linderman

Ray D. Linderman 76 of Streetsboro went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. He was born May 7, 1935 in Cuba, NY to the late Norman and Marian (Brown) Linderman.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years Marjorie (Shannon) Linderman, sons Ron, Steve (Rachel), Jeff (Cindy), daughter Sharon (Joe) O'Neil, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, sister Norma Jean Schryver and brothers Gerald (Sandra) and Lyle (Phyllis) Linderman. Ray retired from Swagelock in 2000, where he was a mechanical engineer and had developed several patents. He was an avid sportsman and in his younger years raced stock cars, liked hunting, camping, singing with the barbershop group and enjoyed traveling with his wife.  The family will receive friends at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home  Streetsboro Chapel on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 12:00 PM to time of services at 3:00 PM. Pastor Don Workman will officiate. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Ray's memory to Faith Baptist Church, 9890 State Route 43, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
