Raymon "Grampy" Pierce McCluskey 86 of Charlestown died Monday, August 7, 2017. He was born June 8, 1931 in Coleman, AL to Tennis P. and Nancy E. (Atkins) McCluskey. Mr. McCluskey was a US Marine Corp veteran, the Supervisor for Ravenna Township Road Department and had attended Baptist Bible Church. Survivors include his children Raymon P. (Rhonda), Michael A. (Kathleen) and Margaret E. McCluskey-Wills, 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and a sister Mary Chumley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Theda P. "Maxine" in 2005 and son Terry. Calling hours will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Mike McLaughlin officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Baptist Bible Church, 6719 State Route 225, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
