Raymond L. Riggs

Raymond L. Riggs 87 of Aurora, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 7, 1932 in Sandyville, WV to Raymond R. and Audrey M. (Parker) Riggs. He was a US Army veteran and had been a truck driver for Holland Trucking and a lifelong country music fan and an accomplished musician. Survivors include his children Regina (Brian) Macke, Lesia Marshek and Chuck Oliver, grandchildren Rusty Marshek, Heather Wojtowicz, Amanda Marshek, Morgan Oliver, Skyler Oliver and Chelsea Urch and great grandchildren Kaleb, Noah and Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Leda G. Riggs and son Bobby Riggs. Calling hours will be from 2 PM until time of funeral services at 4 PM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive , Uniontown, OH 44685.
