Raymond Eugene Roosa 75 of Deerfield died Thursday, April 16, 2015. he was born May 8, 1939 in Ravenna to Leonard J. and Adella (Schumm) Roosa. Mr. Roosa was a US Army veteran, a member of Truth Baptist Church in Atwater and had worked as a truck driver. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Nada (McCourt), daughter Melisa Neff of Deerfield, sons Jeremie Roosa of Leesville, LA and Scott Roosa of Canton, OH, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sisters Pearl Sands of Ravenna, Barbara Hood of Chardon, Alice Butler of Windham and Mary Roosa of Ravenna and brothers Leonard Roosa Jr. of Ravenna and Leroy Roosa of Warren. Memorial calling hours will be from 5 PM until time of memorial service at 7 PM Monday, April 20, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Roy Teague will officiate.
