Rebecca A (Bevington) Burson

Rebecca A. Burson 65 of Columbus and formerly of  Ravenna, passed away Tuesday December 20, 2016 at the Kobacker House in Columbus.  She was born December 29, 1950 in Akron, Ohio to the late Woodrow and Kathryn (Shoyat) Bevington.  Becky had lived in Ravenna from 1982 until she moved to Columbus in 2014,  she formerly had worked has a hairdresser and has taken care of children in her home.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna.  Survivors include her son Andrew and his wife Carrie Burson of Columbus and her grandson Luke.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Burson in 1999.  Calling hours will be Friday December 23, 2016 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.  Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 Am  at Immaculate Conception Church with Father John Allen officiating.  Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Becky may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
