Regina Marie (Perkowski) Vitucci passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born July 30, 1943 to Anthony and Anna (Knapp) Perkowski the third of six children. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961 and attended Kent State University. She was employed by Second National Bank of Ravenna and the General Electric Distribution Center retiring from Star Bank in 1988. She was a devoted wife to her husband Pete Vitucci whom she married on May 6, 1967. Regina had many interests: reading, sewing, cooking, gardening and travel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. One of her favorite quotes from the Little Prince was "What is essential in life is invisible to the eyes, and only seen by the heart." Her caring for others was exemplified by that quote. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Damian Vincent, sister Beverly Lee and brothers Richard and Mack Perkowski. She is survived by her husband Pete, daughters Marcie (Greg) Barberio of Winter Garden, FL, Melanie (Cory) Hudson of Randolph, Melissa (Dan) Marzec of Stow, brother Jim Perkowski of Kent, sister Valarie (Carl) Picelle of Rootstown and sister-in-law Gail Perkowski of Newark, OH. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Abby and Ava Barberio, Damian Diroll, Jake (Jackie), Kylie and Lane Hudson, Jacob, Ben and Will Marzec and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 3. 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio. The Reverend Father William Kraynak will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the Center of Hope, 1034 W.
