Richard L. Dedrick 38 of Ravenna died Friday, July 2, 2010. He was born May 20, 1972 in Warren, Ohio to Samuel and Karen (Cottrill) Dedrick. A lifelong Ravenna resident, he was a machinist for I.E.R. Industries in Twinsburg. Survivors include his companion of 14 years, Georgina Dean of Ravenna, son Matthew Dedrick of Ravenna, sisters Janice Hughes, Nina Dedrick, and Bernice Staggs all of TN, Shirley Hite and Michelle Kline both of Ravenna and a brother Brian Dedrick of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert and Terry Dedrick. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the Ravenna American Legion Post #331 on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Arrangements are being handled by Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
