Richard "Uncle Dick" Cross

Richard E. "Uncle Dick" Cross 79 of Ravenna died Monday, August 20, 2012. He was born January 21, 1933 in Cleveland, OH to Elmer and Eleanor (Potchates) Cross. Uncle Dick was a US Army veteran, a member of Immaculate Conception Church and had worked for Krogers, Stouffers and Delta Systems. Survivors include his brother Ralph Cross of Streetsboro, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Mary Agnes Cross and a brother Roger Cross. Calling hours will be from 5 - 8 PM Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. A mass of christian burial will be hed at 11 AM Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Father Pat Ferraro officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Streetsboro Community Pantry, 8940 State Route 43, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
