Richard L. Grund

Richard L. "Dick" Grund 90 of Charlestown Township passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. He was born July 9, 1935 in Brimfield, Ohio to Meral and Lucille (Fox) Grund. Dick has lived in Charlestown since 1959, retired from Chrysler Corporation where he was a machine operator, served 30 years as Charlestown Township Road Supervisor and served on the Chrlestown Volunteer Fire Department. He was active in the Good Sams Camping Club and the Circulators Square Dance Club. Survivors include his sons Richard L. (Sharon) Grund and Raymond (Cheryl) Grund, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marjorie Grund, son Robert Grund, grandson Glen E. Gaither and a brother Robert Grund. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will be held at Charlestown Cemetery.
