Richard D Harris

Richard D. Harris, 87 of Streetsboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland. Richard was born on December 12, 1934 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and Minnette (Wilmore) Harris. He retired as a plant manager from Brooks Technology in Cleveland where he worked for over 40 years.. Richard was a proud service member of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife Laura C. "Nancy" Harris and his siblings Lou Harris, Ruth Knipple and Dolores Dively. He is survived by his children, Justine (Bruce) Rosser, Darlene Chowning, Brigette (David) Dostal, Joseph Harris, Paul (Laura) Harris,  the mother of his children and his first wife Sandra Dodson, his siblings Joyce Prince and Betty Detwiler, his step-children Kim Cottrill and Shalon Shackelford, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
