Richard D. Higgs

Richard D. Higgs 75 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday February 16, 2016 at his residence.  He was born May 11, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to the late John and Lucille (Craig) Higgs.  Mr. Higgs has lived in Portage County most of his life and was the owner of Triple T Pilot Car services.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force and enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with his family.  Survivors include his daughter Julie  (Andrew) Saxton of Diamond, his grandsons Tyler, Travis  and Trevor.   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Winford and Bob Higgs, his sisters Doris Malloy, Yvonne Varner, Charleen Medina and Jane McKiever.  Calling hours will be Sunday February 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Monday February 22, 2016 from 12 noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel with Rev.
