Richard J. Lower
August 11, 1941 — August 5, 2017
Richard J. Lower passed away peacefully at home in his favorite chair on August 5th at the age of 76. He was the son of Joy and Ruth Lower, and brother to Christine Toure. He is survived by his children, Michael Lower and Tara VanPortfleet (Mike), and his grandchildren, Cortny Lower, Michael F. Lower, and Dirk VanPortfleet. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Kay Lower. He was born in Buckhannon, WVa, and lived most of his years in Shalersville and Ravenna, OH. The family will be celebrating his life privately. Please go and have a cup of coffee in remembrance.
