Richard W. Prosser 69 of Aurora, formerly of Kent, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was born April 4, 1945 in Cleveland to the late Lester W. and Florence Prosser.  Rich was a  Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army from 1969 - 1971. He earned a Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam. Rich was a self-employed salesman. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, loving husband, father and grandfather.  Rich spent many years coaching youth sports. His biggest thrill was watching his children, Tera and Bryce compete through college.  His life revolved around his family.  Rich dedicated his life to his children and their many successes. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne (Finn) Prosser whom he married November 28, 1969,  daughter, Tera (James) Howe  of Virginia Beach, VA, son, Bryce (Hilary) Prosser of Chicago, IL, 5 grandchildren, Connor and Brice Howe, and Mack, Hank and Lucy Prosser. Calling Hours will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home in Streetsboro. Chapel. Rev. William Snyder will be officiating.  Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Please be at Cemetery PROMPTLY at 10:00 AM.
